How to Transfer Hand Drawing to a Shirt
This is James Gang Printing we are here to answer your question about how to get a hand drawing printed onto a t-shirt. It’s just going to start with your hand drawing. You want it to be a very thick drawing, nice art, nice lines, smooth lines. The smoother the lines, the better. You’ll scan in that art. You can either scan it at home and then bring it in on a thumb drive or email it to us. Every print shop should have a scanner where you can scan in your image. We have a big, large-scale scanner here. And then from there, you scan in your image, we’ll upload it, we’ll get it vectored. Then we turn it into either a PhotoShop file, CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator file. From there you can send it to get turned into positives for silk screening, or you can send it straight to a direct to garment printer and have that thing go straight to printing shirts for you that way. Or you can get it cut into vinyl, have it heat transferred as another option.
