How to Shrink T-Shirt | San Diego

James Gang Printing here to answer your question about how to shrink a t-shirt.
I think we all know how to shrink general cotton t-shirt just throw it in the wash on high and throw it in the dryer. If you wanted it to shrink that Tshirt super tight, I’d throw in a dryer by itself on high. The first wash is going to shrink it the most.
The thing about graphics on T-shirts is that the graphic is printed into the fabric of the t-shirt so the image will shrink with the shirt. If you’re worried about that graphic distorting on a shrunk t-shirt, you don’t have to worry. You do have to worry about how tight you want to shrink your t-shirts. That if you want it a little less tight maybe keep in the dryer for half the time if you want your t-shirts fully shrunk leave it longer in the dryer on high to get that tight feel on your t-shirts.
