James Gang Printing is here to answer your questions “How To Shrink Preshrunk Shirts”.
We get this question frequently. There is nothing worse than your favorite t-shirt getting stretched out or you lose weight and want you shirt to fit a bit more snug. The great news is yes, you can shrink preshrunk shirts in the wash. They shrink up about a quarter to maybe a half a size if you wash it by itself at a high temperature.
If you have a preshrunk t-shirt that you want to get a little tighter on you, then wash it by itself in warm water. Next, dry the preshrunk shirt by itself at high temperature and watch it periodically or open it half the time to see how it feels. Then put it back in for the full-time span and then see if it came down to the size that you were looking. Preshrunk shirts are difficult to get tighter, but they will give a little bit if you just wash it by itself.
